After the boat ride, we hiked up to the Citadel. Protector of the gulf, it dominates the town, laid out with its fortifications facing the sea. Erected in XVIth c. , today it plays host to a naval museum in its keep. The upper terrace of the building offers a magnificent panoramic view of the gulf.
Ok whatever, it's just another old building. The inside of it, though, is quite amazing, it's a maze of small tunnels. At the time we went, there was a contemporary art exhibition:
