The French are the most depressed people in Europe - They are the highest consumers of drugs [over the counter and prescription drugs and anti-depressants]. That's really surprising, since when everyone thinks of France, they think "oh its such a great place, romantic,
etc." whatever. Maybe, they're so depressed because, it's such a boring place [OK i take that back, you'll see why in my St. Tropez posts.] To prove that they consume a lot of drugs, there is a pharmacy on almost every corner; the concentration of pharmacies in this city is amazing. I was wondering why, until my French lecturer revealed the secret French drug-craving. [Pharmacie Sextius is not a sex pharmacy, its just a pharmacy on a street called "Sextius" which is an ancient word for "water" or something].
